How To Consign
We take items in on a 50/50 consignment basis, you will receive half of what the items sell for.
We pay you when the item sells.
Finer Things sets all pricing.
Appointment is required.
Items are kept for 100 days.
Items we take:
**Clothing - mens, womens, and childrens
Now for the requirements:
Clothing accepted by season only. Must be clean and no more than 2-3 years old.
Please ensure there are no spots, stains, missing buttons. Adult clothing must be brought in on hangers.
All non-clothing items must be in a box or container (absolutely no garbage bags, sacks ect).
All items requiring batteries must be brought in with batteries to ensure working condition.
Please ensure all pieces and parts are included. Instruction manuals and booklets are helpful.
If your item needs cleaning, dusting, or wiped off - do it BEFORE you bring it in.
***BOXES, TOTES, LAUNDRY BASKETS AND HANGERS WILL NOT BE RETURNED. DO NO BRING IN CONTAINERS YOU WANT BACK !
WE DO NOT HAVE EXTRA CONTAINERS TO EXCHANGE OUT***
Due to the sheer volume of merchandise we handle and the fact that we sell around 85% - 90% of the items brought in, we no longer return unsold items.
ALL UNSOLD ITEMS WILL BE DONATED TO CHARITY.
Don't worry, your good items will sell. We NEVER have to donate furniture, baby equipment, electronics, toys, ect.
These items always sell.
This is not an all inclusive list , but should give you a good starting point. Due to standards, customer preferences and space limitations, examples of items we no longer accept:
Formals, wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses
Mens suits, sportcoats, or ties
Stuffed animals (with the exception of character licensed plush - ie Pooh, Elmo, Sesame Street, Blues Clues, Teletubbies, ect
Incomplete sheet sets - must have fitted, flat, and pillowcases. No individual pieces
Incomplete dish sets, no odd plates, bowls, or cups obviously from a set
Lamps without shades
Beds bigger than a toddler bed
